Individual Supported Employment
Many people with developmental disabilities are model employees. Our Individual Supported Employment program helps people find work that fits their needs and abilities by providing placement and follow-up services. People in this program work in local businesses side-by-side with co-workers who don't have disabilities. Contact Scott Malone at (509) 789-2247 or smalone@arc-spokane.org for more information.

Group Supported Employment
The Arc works with local businesses to find employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities in a group setting. On-site managers ensure safety while encouraging skill development and work integration. Our employee enclaves have contributed significantly to the success of local businesses. Pathway to Employment
Pathway to Employment helps people develop the skills they need to find productive employment. We develop personal interest plans and evaluate candidates' skills, enhancing them when necessary through on-site job observation and community volunteer work. These activities give candidates tangible skills to use in the workplace. Our goal is to find the right job for the right person. Contact Les Nipp at (509) 789-2247 or lnipp@arc-spokane.org for more information.

Pathway to Employment has opportunities for volunteers to accompany participants on outings in the community. Volunteers assist participants with assigned tasks by providing direction and encouragement as necessary. To learn more about volunteering with Pathway, click here.
