PERSON TO PERSON & COMMUNITY ACCESS

Person to Person provides meaningful work experience for adults with developmental disabilities who may not yet have the skills necessary for a full or part-time job. This program matches an individual's interests, needs and abilities to task-specific activities in the community that help build marketable job skills.

Community Access provides social and recreational experiences for people with developmental disabilities who are of retirement age, allowing constituents to participate in activities which their peers in the community also enjoy. These activities are focused around their expressed interests and may include volunteering for local charities, taking classes or participating in a civic club.

Participation in Person to Person or Community Access is contingent upon funding from the state Division of Developmental Disabilities or other agencies. Please contact Les Nipp at (509) 789-2247 or lnipp@arc-spokane for more information.
